God's Promises!!

Last week my son Carlos Ivan came from Dallas, TX for a couple of days.  He was here for his cousins wedding and a little vacation with us.  It is so good to see how he has changed from a young boy that was never still to a young independent adult.  I remember all the work and the stress he made me go throughout his uprising days! Yep! It was hard! Carlos Ivan was diagnosed with ADHD (Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder ) a neurobehavioral developmental disorder. It is primarily characterized by "the co-existence of attentional problems and hyperactivity, with each behavior occurring infrequently alone" and symptoms starting before seven years of age. It is a problem with inattentiveness, over-activity, impulsivity, or a combination.

So you can see life was an ordeal for me! Well I say I just didn’t have a life! It was really difficult to deal with that disorder and with all the other problems that came by at the time!  But, God is so good that when Carlos Ivan put his life completely in his hand he started changing.  God has done a wonderful work in my son’s life.

The same week he turned 18 yrs old I took him to start living his dream at Masters Commission USA, in Phoenix Arizona. A discipleship program at a Church where his life took a great big turn around and since then has been living on his own and moved to Dallas TX with the program and helped out in starting a new church. I have seen his transformation and today after being here in Puerto Rico when he got back at his job he received the good news of a promotion and a raise!

I am happy because this is part of God’s promise for me and my family and a great part in my life changing journey!  What the Lord promises He delivers! Even when we think He will not deliver! (Truly I had my doubts this morning) I was having a big conversation with God this morning and the Lord answered me immediately!

We got to hold on to His promises! It is hard but “He has plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future”! Jer. 29.11

Be blessed!!
